"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child"

The ups and downs of moving to a different country

Almost forgot about this blog again! I’ve been nursing a migraine on-and-off for the past several days, so I’ve had a lot of time to myself with my own thoughts.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, as I try to settle into my new job and my new country. I think now that I’ve gotten a better sense of how things work in this part of the world, I’ve been trying to figure out if I regret moving across the Atlantic Ocean.

The answer is that I don’t know yet.

  • I leave #Salzburg πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή for Prague, Czechnia tomorrow. Out of all the photos I've taken in Salzburg so far, I think this one has to be my favourite. I decided to visit Salzburg this Christmas because I wanted to visit a place that truly celebrates Christmas in that classic non-commercalized way that you read about in storybooks. πŸŽ„ My family doesn't really celebrate Christmas, you see, so now that I live in Europe, I figured that this would be the best chance to really experience true Christmas magic. ❄️ From the Christmas decorations, the snowy streets, the open fire, and the mugs of mulled wine, this photo perfectly represents my stay in Salzburg, Austria so far. It's been absolutely magical. ❀️
  • €4.50 for the most authentic mulled wine (#glΓΌhwein) I've ever tasted, and it even came with the free mug! What a deal. πŸ·πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή
  • It was too snowy to see the whole lake and landscape, but my gosh, it's still such a pretty scene. πŸ˜β„οΈπŸŒ¨οΈ
  • Love the snow. I've missed this sort of weather! 🌨️ Salzburg is so pretty in this weather! πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή
  • The streets of Salzburg are so pretty at night. Love the Christmas decorations! πŸŽ„πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή
  • Throwback to the beautiful Palace of Versailles. Absolutely breathtaking. #Throwback #TBT
